Lead Volunteer & Office Coordinator

John Filion Re-Election Campaign | Toronto

  • Coordinated schedules, tasks and ride shares for all 200+ campaign volunteers, while continuously recruiting and training new volunteers daily.

 

  • Produced daily canvass schedules and materials for the councillor and volunteers.
     

  • Answered phones and emails, greeted volunteers and visitors, and managed all digital and physical campaign data records.
     

  • Assisted in management of the database through NationBuilder.

  • Maintained a clean and organized office for staff and volunteers, ordered office materials and scheduled office equipment repairs when needed.

​

  • In October, our candidate was re-elected after a successful campaign.

Deputy Campaign Manager

Dan Fox Municipal Election | Toronto

  • Worked directly with the campaign manager and candidate to budget and plan events, public/media relations, fundraisers, canvass routes, and I coordinated and recruited new and previous volunteers. 

 

  • Managed and prioritized the candidate’s personal and campaign schedules.
     

  • Assisted in management of the database through NationBuilder.

  • Provided professional support to the candidate to keep positive moral, troubleshoot fallbacks, and celebrate wins.

  • ​​Unfortunately, our candidate had to step down from the election shortly before the vote due to highly unusual political events.

May - Jun 2018

Assistant Election

Day Manager

Chris Glover MPP Provincial Election | Toronto

  • Delivered campaign literature to all voters, identified voters, provided electoral information to engaged constituents, and pulled-vote leading up the election.

 

  • Assisted the E-Day manager in major directives, such as built an outreach strategy based on data, and targeted canvassing.

  • Coordinated both the candidate, assistant, and volunteers, as well as participating in direct voter contact myself.   
     

  • Recruited and trained active volunteers for various roles, including data entry, phone banking, canvassing, fundraising, and arranging ride requests.

 

  • The candidate was elected to an MPP seat in the province of Ontario for the first time in June 2018.

  • Delivered campaign literature to voters in person.
